Country music with a post driver built to be used in the country

Oct 2015 Guitar

It’s officially fall, which means it’s the perfect time of year to kick your Man Saver Post Driver into gear as the heat of summer wears down. We’ve created the perfect playlist to help you get the job done and to keep the country vibes going all season long.

40 Hour Week (For a Livin') - Alabama This is basically the working man’s theme song. Alabama manages to thank just about every hardworking, blue-collar American employee they can think of in three-and-a-half minutes.

Harvest Time - Luke Bryan Lyric after lyric, this song is spot-on for painting a picture of this time of year: “There is a big red moon comin’ up in the sky…combines cuttin’ in a staggered line.” Amen, Luke. Amen.

Hard Workin’ Man - Brooks & Dunn Released in 1993, the duo sings about the struggles and pleasures of a blue-collar work ethic. "Got everything I own / By the sweat of my brow / From my four-wheel drive to my cowboy boots / I owe it all to my blue collar roots.” Perfect motivation to help you get your next fencing project done.

The Chill of an Early Fall - George Strait Lovin’ the ambiguity in these lyrics: “I’ll begin to feel the chill of an early fall” can be taken as the weather is changing or that the love the singer is in is fading sooner than expected. Country at its finest.

Country Bumpkin - Cal Smith “How’s the frost out on the pumpkin?” Pumpkins are an important part of life this time of year, especially since, more and more, fall has turned into an opportunity to make all our favorite foods even better by making them pumpkin flavored. That’s definitely something to sing about.

The Boys of Fall - Kenny Chesney If you’re like us, fall might as well be synonymous with football. Truck beds in parking lots, Bud Light, and cheering on your favorite team… what could be better?

When the Work's All Done This Fall - Marty Robbins Marty Robbins just knows how to tell a story; you can almost see the herd of cows during the roundup. Fair warning: this song is a bit of a tear jerker.

Working Man Blues - Merle Haggard It's clear not a lazy day has ever passed under Merle Haggard's’ feet. This song was one of his earliest No. 1 hits, and it's still a fan favorite today. "Hey hey, the working man, the working man like me / I ain't never been on welfare, that's one place I won't be / Cause I'll be working long as my two hands are fit to use / I drink a little beer in a tavern / Sing a little bit of these working man blues." Preach it, man.

We can all agree there’s nothing like some good country jams to keep you going throughout the day. Whether you’re in the mood for snuggling up, dancing all season, or pounding in some posts with the Man Saver Post Driver, give your fall playlist a little update with these eight great songs.
